NOTICE OF DEATH - DR CHRIS BUCKINGHAM
It is with regret that the Club has to announce the death of Associate Member, Dr Chris Buckingham, who passed away peacefully at home on 19 January 2011 after a short illness.
Chris was for many years the Chief Medical Officer at Silverstone and it was under his professional eye that Silverstone’s medical facilities improved significantly and set the standard for the rest of the motor racing world to follow.
Condolences have been passed to Chris’s wife Barry and his daughter Sarah.
A service of thanks giving will take place at 2.30pm on Tuesday 15 February at St Nicholas Church, Barton-le-Clay, Bedfordshire. No flowers please.
